We will be hosting a holiday open house as an opportunity to gather as a community and see our COMPLETED school building.   As parking is a challenge in our new facility, we have planned accordingly and have scheduled the open house as follows:
Monday, December 12 (5th-8th grade families)
4:30-6:00 pm last names A-L
6:30-8:00 pm last names M-Z
Tuesday, December 13 (K-4th grade families)
4:30-6:00 pm last names A-L
6:30-8:00 pm last names M-Z
If you are unable to make your designated time, you are welcome to come at the other time for your grade level.  Please note, teachers will only be available on the date that corresponds to the grade level that they teach.
Plans are underway for our big spring auction fundraiser planned for late April.   Our committee is seeking members with skills in marketing, accounting, sponsorships, volunteer coordinating and video production.  If you have these skills and need some volunteer hours, WE NEED YOU!   Consider attending our next meeting Wednesday, December 14 at 8:30 am in the school conference room, OR email Shannon Zielonka to express interest.

Our lost and found has taken on a life of it’s own.   Please have your child check for any missing items before December 16.   We will donate all items that do not have a student’s name on them to charity over the holiday break.

Have you been clipping and saving your Box Tops for Education?!  I hope so because we have set a goal to raise $3,000.00 this year for our school!  We are having our 1st collection the week of December 12th – 16th.  PLEASE SEND IN YOUR BOX TOPS IN A ZIPLOC BAG CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE HOMEROOM TEACHER NAME AND GRADE. Please remind your child(ren) to give the ziploc to their homeroom teacher immediately when they arrive to their classroom in the morning.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO COLLECT AND COUNT! This will be an easy way to earn some volunteer hours and have fun with fellow PPA parents!  To sign up:

Attention photographers in the PPA community… we need your help!   With our first year almost half way done, we have started to assemble a yearbook team to capture every moment of our inaugural year.    Please keep all photos you have taken and watch your email for ways to share them with the yearbook staff.  Thanks!
Due to the large number of events happening next week before the holidays, the December Coffee with the Principal has been cancelled. However, please join me in January and every month thereafter on the third Thursday of the month.   Sign up HERE so we know how much coffee we need.
