We know how important before- and after-school programs can be to your family. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to let you know that Parker Performing Arts and Champions have teamed up to give your family a new program to choose from! Champions provides a safe environment that’s conveniently located at Parker Performing Arts.  Additionally, time is set aside for homework help to prepare your child for the next school day, giving your family more time to spend together at night.

Learning shouldn’t stop when the school bell rings — and the Champions program makes sure it doesn’t. Our curriculum promotes child engagement with fun learning activities that are specifically adapted by teachers to bring out the best in your child. Our teachers inspire your child to follow his or her curiosity across a breadth of subjects—creative arts, math and construction, library time, puzzles and games, and science—to foster mental, physical, social, and emotional growth.

As a parent, you benefit from the convenience of Champions being located at Parker Performing Arts and since we’ve partnered with the Champions program, your child will get an integrated educational experience that builds on what they learn during the school day.

Champions School Weeks
Program designed for children ages 5 to 14. A child may attend before school only, after school only or both.
Program Dates:
09/23/2016 – 06/16/2017
Tuition: Starts at $19.60 per week.

Champions Spring Break
Program designed for children ages 5 to 14 during Spring Break. Extended day of operations providing activities from the Champions program.
Program Dates:
03/20/2017 – 03/24/2017
Tuition: Starts at $35.00 per week.

Champions Thanksgiving Break
Program designed for children ages 5 to 14 during Thanksgiving Break. Extended day of operations providing activities from the Champions program.
Program Dates:
11/21/2016 – 11/23/2016
Tuition: Starts at $35.00 per week.

Champions Winter Break
Program designed for children ages 5 to 14 during Winter Break. Extended day of operations providing activities from the Champions program.
Program Dates:
12/19/2016 – 01/02/2017
Tuition: Starts at $35.00 per week.

WHERE IS THE PROGRAM LOCATED?
Our Before- and After-School Program is located ON SITE at our school.

WHO ARE YOUR TEACHERS? WHAT TYPE OF EDUCATION DO THEY HAVE?
Our site directors are highly qualified educators, with a minimum of 30 credits toward a Bachelor in Education, Social Science, CDA or Early Childhood Education degree. They also must have worked with school age children for a minimum of two years. Our average
director has a completed degree and 5-10 years of experience in the field.

IS CHAMPIONS A STATE LICENSED PROGRAM? WHAT ARE THE TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIOS?
Champions is a Colorado State Licensed program. We will never have more than 15 children with one teacher.

HOW DO I ENROLL?
It’s simple! Go to www.discoverchampions.com and click “enroll now”. The system will walk you through registering yourself and your child(ren). We have the added convenience of our 800 customer service line and web-chat to help you through any questions.

CAN I CHANGE MY SCHEDULE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL FEES?
YES! After you pick your weekly schedule, a custom calendar feature on your account page allows you to customize the following week (or weeks). This application needs to be complete no later than the Wednesday prior to the week needing change.

WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU DO? WHAT ABOUT YOUR HOMEWORK PROGRAM?
Every afternoon there is a minimum of 30 minutes of dedicated homework time. We include a reading program to supplement school
required reading time. After homework, the group moves on to activities in Math, Art, Science, Drama, Music, Sports and more.

DOES THE PROGRAM RUN ON NO SCHOOL DAYS, LATE STARTS AND EARLY RELEASE?
Yes, our program opens at 6:30am and closes at 6:30pm on our regular schedule for all of the above. Late Starts and Early Release are held at your school for an additional fee. Full non-school days are held at a consolidated site in the school district for an additional fee. Winter and Spring Break Programs also available locally. Ask your Area Manager for details.

DOES CHAMPIONS HAVE A SUMMER BREAK PROGRAM?
Yes, we have locations in throughout the Denver area, open 6:30am to 6:30pm.
