Johanna Jaquith (K-4 Theater) has been teaching theater for 7 years and has directed over 85 children’s theater productions. She has a background in child psychology (BA from Miami University and MA from Regis University). During her master’s internship, Johanna used theater to create an acting therapy group for 3rd grade boys with ADHD. She believes strongly in the power of theater as a tool in both education and emotional health. Johanna herself is an actress and works regularly in the Denver theater community. She is the Executive Producer of Silhouette Theater Company and one of the co-founders of Ensemble Theater Company. Johanna also did a four year stint in Chicago where she received training in Improv. She has performed with IO (formerly Improv Olympic), The Playground and Second City. Johanna is thrilled to be joining the PPA family.
