Tanner is an active music director, performer and teacher around the Denver-Metro area. He is the Executive Music Director for Inspire Creative where he has directed, performed, conducted, and music directed shows, summer programs, and children’s choirs for the last 10 years. Tanner is the High School Music Education Director for StageDoor Theatre and has music directed for the PACE Center, Stagedoor, Dylan’s Down With the Arts and St. Luke’s Performing Arts Academy. He is the founder and owner of Music@Mainstreet a private studio for music, dance and performing arts lessons in Downtown Parker, a frequent performer at the Adams Mystery Playhouse, a musical theatre and acting judge for Denver’s Thespian Conference and is a music teacher for the Douglas County School District.  He is a proud member of the Evans Choir, with performance credits including the opera “The Poet Li Bai,” (Los Angeles Production), Bravo! Vail Musical Festival with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and upcoming performances with the Colorado Symphony and Aspen Symphony Orchestra . Recent accolades include: West Side Story (Outstanding Musical Director: Broadway World 2015) Shrek: The Musical (Broadway World Nomination 2014), a DCSD apple award nomination and the musical theatre winner of the 2010 national association of teachers of singers for Colorado and Wyoming. Tanner is a graduate from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, holds his Colorado Teaching License from MSU Denver and will receive his Master of Music Education from ASU next spring.
