Parker Performing Arts School Board of Directors

In a parent led charter school, the Board of Directors governs the school in a similar way that the Board of Education governs a district led neighborhood school.  The Parker Performing Arts School Board of Directors are all unpaid volunteers who have full time jobs, families, and also take on these duties for the school.

Director Jan Payne, President

Jan Payne fell in love with the arts at a young age, and after attending Aspen Music School decided to move from Kansas to Colorado. Jan earned a Bachelor of Music Education with minors in art history and dance from Wichita State University, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She became acquainted with and excited about PPA in late 2015, and has since worked to promote the school’s mission and vision.

Jan taught music in Colorado public schools and international private schools, and management, education, leadership, communications, and humanities classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  She is a licensed private investigator, has held various roles in higher education administration, and currently provides consulting services for organizations and individuals.

Jan lives in Castle Rock with her husband and sphynx cats. She also volunteers with a local hospice, finding great reward in working with caregivers and families.

Elected June 2016 to serve until May 2019.

Director Sean Wiggin, Vice President

Sean Wiggin is a native Coloradoan who grew up in Aurora. He has an undergraduate business degree from the University of Northern Colorado and both a Master’s of Business Administration and a Master’s of Science Finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Professionally Sean works in the Financial Services sector specializing in Qualified Retirement Plans.

He now lives in Parker with his wife and their two kids. Sean’s affiliation with Parker Performing Arts began in November 2014 with a community meeting about the school as he and his wife were trying to determine Kindergarten options for their son. The school’s commitment to the Four C’s (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication) resonated with Sean not only as key skills for the performing arts, but also for the job market.

Sean is an avid cyclist, having completed some of the well known Colorado Century Rides, including Elephant Rock and the Colorado-Eagle River Ride. Prior to joining the PPAS Board he served as Treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Scottish Athletes.

Director Lauren Money, Secretary

Lauren Money was elected by the Parker Performing Arts School community to join the Board in May, 2017.  Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance in only three years from Montana State University, Bozeman.  She grew up in Wyoming and always aspired to build her career in neighboring Colorado.

Lauren has over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry focused primarily on banking and mortgage finance.  From 2006 to 2013, she was Credit Analyst, Branch Manager, Regional Manager, and then Senior Analyst for a top direct mortgage lender with a loan servicing portfolio of $60 billion and nearly 300,000 customers.  Lauren’s current professional position is Vice President, Enterprise Risk Administration Manager, CRA/Fair Lending Officer for a local community bank where she joined as Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in 2013.

Lauren’s connection with PPA began with seeking the right school for her daughter to attend kindergarten.  As the vision and mission of PPA aligned well with Lauren’s aspirations for the educational and professional success of her children and their peers, she ultimately chose PPA and sought candidacy for the Board.

Lauren is dedicated to community development, especially when it comes to the education of our youth.  She actively volunteers with several non-profit organizations within the Denver Metropolitan Area by teaching financial literacy and providing financial advisory services.  She is also a member of the Denver Kids Young Professionals Council, a dedicated group of emerging leaders who share an interest in helping Denver’s youth succeed.

Elected May 2017 to serve until May 2020.

Director Jason Naugle, Treasurer

Jason Naugle was SVP of First Security Bank of Nevada for eight years and then moved to Parker to become the Chief Operating Officer of Champion Bank in September 2015. Since then, he was consistently promoted and now serves as the President of Champion Bank.

Jason earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Regis University and attended the CEO program at the Graduate School of Banking, University of Colorado, Boulder.

Jason was also a board member of the Desert Wetlands Conservancy and an active member of the Children’s Heart Foundation, both located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Re-elected May 2017 to serve until May 2020.

Director Mitzie Chansilp

For 13 years, Mitzie served in the United States Army. During her time with in the U.S. Army, she specialized in Veterinarian medicine supporting global military missions, which included deployments to the Middle East, Korea, and Central and South America. Prior to her departure with the U.S. Army to start her family, she held rank of Staff Sargent and graduated with a degree in Biology.

After Mitzie’s military career, she worked in various managerial positions with FedEx Office, TIAA-CREF and the Department of Defense. Through her civilian work experiences, she advanced her development as a professional leader with a focus and emphasis in corporate production, time and quality management, and office administration.

Nowadays, Mitzie is a stay-at-home mom, focused on raising her two beautiful children. In doing so, Mitzie has been an active member and participant of the PPAS community since its inaugural year. In Fall of 2016, Mitzie joined the Parents Community Association (PCA) with an active role to help manage and organize community events and activities. Highly passionate about volunteering her time and professional experiences at her second home at PPAS., Mitzie is dedicated in her work with the Board towards the students’ and school’s success now and into the future.

Elected June 2018 to serve until 2021.

Director Tom Donohoe

Tom Donohoe is Shareholder and Office Managing Partner for a 200+ attorney firm nationally known for its specialization and expertise in health law.  He earned a Bachelor of Political Science degree from Brigham Young University and his law degree from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.

Tom’s musical background starts with his mother who was a music teacher and choral director for over 30 years in the West Hartford, Connecticut public school system.  Tom himself sang and toured with various school select choirs and participated in various school musical productions in his youth and in high school.  His daughter has continued that tradition by attending PPA, playing the piano, and singing in a regional children’s choir, Young Voices of Colorado.

Tom is a resident of Parker, Colorado and is married to his wife Adri.  Together they have three children with whom they enjoy spending time and shuttling to various activities and other events, including choir practices, hockey games, and other family outings.

Director Lisa Neal-Graves, Esq

Currently serving as a member of the executive team of Universal Plasma LLC, a plasma antennae startup, Lisa is responsible for legal and marketing. A visionary senior technology and operations executive with legal expertise and a track record of building and leading business models, structures and cross-functional groups across large and small organizations, Lisa delivers substantive business results with significant impact. In her 25+ years of professional experience, Lisa has achieved unprecedented success within Fortune 100, startup and nonprofit organizations.

A pioneering technology innovator and motivator of cross-cultural teams, Lisa has delivered game-changing results in new product introduction and business impact. With extensive experience applying technology to diverse industries, she has worked for companies in hardware, software, telecom and wireless. Dedicated to delivering company growth, profitability and sustainability in the volatile global platform, Lisa offers experience with industry frontrunners such as Intel, Unisys, JPM Chase, Deloitte, Lucent and AT&T.

Lisa’s academic credentials include a JD with a concentration in Tech Law, ME in Engineering Management, MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science. As such, her background is broad, varied and focused on technology strategy, planning, and implementation across a variety of industries and is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Colorado. Lisa is an avid reader, a shoe and bag designer, and married to the love of her life, Anthony Neal-Graves where they live in Parker, Colorado.
